How a deliberate SEO and AI discoverability strategy helped Foundeast dramatically increase organic visibility—with no paid advertising.
When agencies talk about SEO, AI search, and discoverability, it’s fair to ask one question:
Have you actually done it yourselves?
Over the past 90 days, we decided to find out.
Rather than relying on client case studies or industry theory, we rebuilt our own website around a single objective:
Become easier to discover wherever business buyers now search—not just Google, but increasingly AI assistants as well.
We deliberately switched off paid marketing and focused almost entirely on organic discovery.
No ad campaigns.
No traffic purchases.
No shortcuts.
Instead, we invested in content architecture, technical SEO, topical authority, and what we now refer to as Discoverability Strategy.
The results surprised even us.
WHY WE CHANGED OUR STRATEGY
Search behaviour is changing.
Many executives no longer begin their research by typing a few keywords into Google.
Instead they ask:
- Who Are the Best PR Agencies in Thailand?
- Which Agency Specialises in International Companies Entering Southeast Asia?
- Who Combines PR with SEO?
- Which Marketing Agency Helps Brands Become More Discoverable in AI?
Sometimes these questions happen in Google.
Increasingly they happen inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, and other AI assistants.
That changes what websites need to accomplish.
Instead of simply ranking for keywords, businesses must demonstrate expertise across entire subject areas.
Discoverability has become much broader than traditional SEO.
THE FOUR PRINCIPLES OF DISCOVERABILITY
When we relaunched the Foundeast website, we focused on several principles.
1. BUILDING TOPICAL AUTHORITY
Rather than creating isolated service pages, we began publishing content around the subjects clients actually research:
- International PR
- GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)
- SEO
- Thought Leadership
- Reputation Management
- Communications Strategy
- Southeast Asian Market Entry
Each article supports related service pages while answering real business questions.
Instead of producing disconnected blog posts, we built content clusters designed to reinforce our expertise across multiple related topics. This approach helps both search engines and AI assistants understand what Foundeast is genuinely knowledgeable about.
2. IMPROVING SITE ARCHITECTURE
Search engines—and AI models—understand websites through relationships.
We restructured navigation, internal linking, page hierarchy, and supporting content so every important service became easier to understand.
Pages that once stood alone now reinforce one another, helping search engines build confidence in the site’s overall authority rather than treating each page as an isolated asset.
3. PUBLISHING FOR PEOPLE FIRST
Every article begins with a genuine business question.
No keyword stuffing.
No AI-generated filler.
No chasing search volume for its own sake.
If an article doesn’t help someone make a better marketing decision, we don’t publish it.
Ironically, writing for people first often produces better SEO results than writing for search engines.
4. TREATING AI DISCOVERY AS SERIOUSLY AS GOOGLE
Large language models rely heavily on authoritative, well-structured content.
That means focusing on:
- Clear Expertise
- Topical Depth
- Strong Internal Linking
- Consistent Publishing
- Trustworthy Information
Many of these principles overlap with traditional SEO.
But increasingly, businesses also need content that AI systems can confidently reference when recommending companies and explaining complex topics.
THE RESULTS AFTER 90 DAYS
While ninety days is still very early in SEO, the trajectory has been extremely encouraging.
ORGANIC TRAFFIC ACCELERATED
Google Analytics showed 777 active users during the last 90 days, representing a 432.2% increase compared with the previous period.
New users grew even faster:
- 765 New Users
- 479.5% Growth
User engagement also increased significantly, with total event activity rising by 186.3%.
Perhaps the most important point is this:
These gains were achieved without relying on paid advertising.
The increase reflects stronger organic discoverability rather than additional advertising spend.
SEARCH VISIBILITY INCREASED STEADILY
Google Search Console tells an equally encouraging story.
Over the same three-month period the website generated:
- 25,600 Search Impressions
- 184 Organic Clicks
Although click volumes remain modest, the steady increase in impressions throughout June and July is exactly what we hoped to see.
Google is discovering more of our content, surfacing it for more search queries, and testing it across a broader range of topics.
That process almost always precedes larger traffic gains.
Growing visibility comes first.
Growing clicks follow.
RANKINGS CONTINUE IMPROVING INTERNATIONALLY
We also monitor keyword rankings across four international markets:
- Thailand
- United States
- Singapore
- South Korea
During the most recent month:
- 27 Tracked Keywords Improved
- 23 Keywords Declined
- 100 Keywords Held Their Position
- 3 Keywords Now Rank in Google’s Top 3
- 6 Keywords Rank Within Google’s Top 10
Considering much of the site’s content is still relatively new, these results provide a strong foundation for continued growth.
Even more encouraging is that improvements are occurring across multiple countries rather than being limited to Thailand alone.
For an agency serving international companies across Southeast Asia, that matters.
THE BIGGEST LESSON
Traffic wasn’t generated by publishing dozens of random blog posts.
It came from building an ecosystem.
Every article supports another.
Every service page is reinforced by educational content.
Every topic contributes to broader authority.
Instead of asking:
“How do we rank for this keyword?”
we asked:
“How do we become the obvious authority on this subject?”
That shift changes everything.
SEO IS BECOMING DISCOVERABILITY
For years, SEO was largely viewed as a technical discipline.
Today it is becoming a business visibility discipline.
Google still matters enormously.
But executives increasingly receive recommendations from AI assistants before they ever visit a search engine.
Businesses therefore need to optimise for being cited, recommended, and trusted—not simply indexed.
That means building genuine expertise that both people and AI systems recognise.
We’re already seeing the early effects of that shift.
THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING
Ninety days is a very short time in SEO.
Authority compounds.
Every high-quality article strengthens those already published.
Every internal link reinforces the wider content ecosystem.
Every external mention increases trust.
The results we’ve seen so far suggest the strategy is working.
But we’re far more interested in where we’ll be after six months, one year, and beyond.
We’ll continue sharing our own data because we believe agencies should demonstrate their methodology on themselves before recommending it to clients.
If discoverability is becoming marketing’s next competitive advantage, the best proof is building it in public.
FINAL THOUGHT
Traditional SEO asks:
“How do we rank?”
Discoverability asks:
“How do we become the answer?”
That distinction may prove to be one of the most significant shifts in digital marketing over the coming decade.
At Foundeast, it’s no longer simply how we optimise websites.
It’s how we think about communications itself.
